The suite had a big living room full of furniture we didn’t need, and the finish was disappointing: the paint or covering at the bottom of the walls was peeling, and the couch color looked faded. The photos had looked much better than the place did in person, which felt neglected. Getting help was hard. We called the front desk repeatedly and nobody picked up. In the morning, after four unanswered calls to ask when breakfast ended, we went to the restaurant. No one was there, though we could hear kitchen noise, so we knocked to find out what was available. There wasn’t much choice. Pineapple was the only juice, which my partner is allergic to, and the eggs were cold. As soon as we checked in, the woman at reception was already asking us to leave a hotel review. We left disappointed.

The rooms are big, the place is clean, and the food is excellent. We got great customer service too. This place is awesome, and we’ll definitely stay again!

The staff were friendly and attentive, which was the one redeeming part of the stay. But the hotel needs serious maintenance. The rooms and shared areas looked neglected, with clear issues in both cleanliness and repairs. We had hot water outages in the morning, a basic service problem that affected our comfort and gave the impression of cost cutting. Given how important the end of the year was, the experience fell short of what I expected. I wouldn’t recommend staying until they invest seriously in the facilities and guest experience.

The staff at Qallwa Chincha made us feel right at home, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Its location also worked perfectly for sightseeing around the city. We had a wonderful stay!
