The staff were wonderful, and when someone in our group felt unwell, they even called a doctor to the room. I’ve traveled all over the world and never had that level of help. The hotel is quaint and comfortable, with a little outdoor lobby space for sitting by a fire or under heat lamps, plus a coffee cart where an Americano, espresso, or cappuccino costs at most 3 soles. Our king room had large windows that opened for a breeze, as well as a higher window that tilted open for cross ventilation. There’s no AC, which is pretty common. Coming from the States, the place reminded me of a ski town, and the hotel felt like it could be in a Disney movie. People around the city were kind and generous, and the stray dogs just seemed to want pets, food, and clean water. It’s a very nice hotel. We’ll be back.

We had a great stay and would definitely return with our family. The staff were very nice and polite, and the location made getting around easy, about a three-block walk to Plaza de Armas and right across from the Coricancha Temple. Our suite was amazing, modern, cozy, and warm, with a great bathroom and an insanely comfortable bed. It had two heaters, which we used at night when it got cold. The mini fridge came stocked with water, a Cusqueña beer, sodas, and tasty snacks, all included. The only small room issue was that the bathroom could use a couple more towels. Breakfast was good, a basic continental spread with nothing fancy, though something more local like hot chocolate would be nice. We booked on the website and got a promo that included the suite and airport pickup. The driver was right on time and the pickup went smoothly. Check-in took a little while because it’s a small boutique hotel and lots of people arrived at once, but we could have coca tea and other teas while we waited, so it wasn’t a big deal. One thing I didn’t love was the 18% tax. The reservation was under my husband, who isn’t Peruvian, and I’m a dual citizen, but I didn’t have my foreign passport with me, so they still wanted to charge it. It wasn’t a deal breaker. We’d totally recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay, with excellent, friendly service the whole time. Our room was conveniently close to reception, though noise from the shared area carried in now and then. It wasn’t constant, and earplugs did the trick. The hotel is beautiful and well placed for walking to the main sights, while being far enough from the busy areas to feel peaceful.

The patio is so quiet that the city traffic noise disappears as soon as you step inside. It’s right by Plaza de Armas and in a great location, yet wonderfully peaceful at night despite being in the center. The breakfast was delicious, and the price for what you get is very good. Definitely book this hotel if you’re visiting Cuzco!
