Amaru Colonial

We loved being able to walk to the main central plaza and some of the best restaurants in town. The staff, especially Brisayda, Nazario, Yulder, Rodrigo, Rita, Margarita, y Brandon, were so friendly and went out of their way to help us adjust to the altitude. The free morning buffet was great, and the rooms were comfortable with all the amenities you’d expect from a nice hotel. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it.

From our Superior Room, my partner and I had an amazing view over Cusco. The hotel itself was beautiful, with plants and lovely staff, and it was easy to walk everywhere from its spot in the historical centre. They had Coca tea for altitude sickness, and let us leave our bags there for a few hours after checkout while we waited for our driver. Highly recommend, from two Aussie's xx

The front desk helped arrange a ride to the train station, and the hotel is within walking distance of everything in town. There’s a water filter and free coffee in the lobby, plus a nice breakfast buffet. Our room was large and clean.

The breakfast area has a breathtaking view, and breakfast is included. It’s an affordable, clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff and a nice environment. The location takes some getting used to: it’s on a narrow Cusco street, about a 10 minute walk from the main plaza, and there’s no parking. Heating only comes on after 7pm.
