We stayed for a week and enjoyed the roomy, quiet flat-like space, with lots of light. The views were lovely, especially from an upper floor. They cleaned our room daily and left breakfast groceries for us to cook as we liked. There wasn't much hot water, so we couldn't use the bathtub, though we managed a short shower. The room was about 80-90% clean, and the bathtub hadn't been cleaned well before we arrived. Hot water issues are common in Cusco, so that part was fine.

I stayed in the “London” room and had a very good view. It's in a lovely neighborhood in Cusco, quiet and private day and night, with birds singing in the yard. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, the bed was nice, and the receptionist was so kind. They provided a towel and bathrobe, and there was a radiator to warm the room at night. The shower had hot water, and the bathtub / hottub was very nice. The bathroom had a moldy smell. It wasn't too bad, but it was noticeable. Burning incense in the room and by the bath worked pretty well to freshen things up. I think this is a wider issue in Cusco, especially in bathrooms without windows. I've noticed the same smell in bathrooms at expensive hotels here too. Hopefully they can use white vinegar to clean wherever the mold is hiding whenever it comes back. A window that opens could help keep air moving, and in the worst case, if the mold is under the bath, maybe an air purifier with essential oil would keep the air fresh. It was a nice stay, and I do recommend the place.

We booked for a full week but left after just one night. There was no usable WiFi in our unit, no hot water, and the room wasn't adequately heated. When we complained, we got no response. We had to pay for somewhere else to stay, and the hotel wouldn't refund the nights we didn't use. We spent three weeks in the Sacred Valley and Cusco, and this was by far the worst place we stayed. Also, there was no notice that reaching the unit meant walking up a lot of stairs.

The rooms are themed with a lot of thought put into both their look and comfort, and the property itself is breathtaking. Tim has clearly considered all the little details, and the place has so much character. The views make great use of Cusco's beauty, and the large jetted tubs, and maybe the mini bar, are just what you want after exploring the city. Julia at the front desk is incredibly sweet. Even with the language barrier, I felt like I'd known her for years. Tim communicated consistently and was happy to respond at any hour. It almost felt like staying with family. This might be the best place in Cusco, and it's likely my favorite hotel I've stayed in. I'd come back just for this place!
