Cuatro Lagunas

I liked the layout, with rooms on the first and second floors arranged around a covered patio. There are small tables in the patio, and the second-floor rooms have balconies. The reception staff are very friendly. The rooms have the basics, they're clean, there's hot water, and there's a TV. You can also get hot water anytime for mate or tea.

The owners are a married couple who run the lodging themselves. Before that, they had rented the house to someone else who operated it as a guesthouse. They're respectful and charismatic, and the service was excellent. I'd stay there again.

I was there for almost two weeks, and things had been going well until Christmas Day. That night they held a party, even though drinking wasn't allowed, and I couldn't get any sleep. People were smoking inside, talking constantly, and playing loud music. It was full of Venezuelans. I had a flight at 8:15 a.m. on the 25th, so the night was terrible. My last day at that hotel was awful, and I don't want to remember the place. I had a really bad time.

I booked the day before, but when I arrived they told me there were no rooms available. Horrible experience, completely unprofessional, and I don't recommend this place at all.
