Andes House Cusco

We stayed in rooms 04 and 05. The bathroom was tiny, with a little sink, no toilet paper holder, and barely room for two toothbrushes. Its window faced the inside corridor, so sounds carried both ways. The “matrimonial rooms,” as they call them, are basically single-person rooms with a double bed, and there’s hardly space for luggage. Rooms for two people with separate beds are the actual two-person rooms. Our friends had rooms on the left, which were about 50% bigger and had a couch too.

There was some music at night. It stopped at 11, and wasn’t very loud, though you could hear the bass.

The location was good, but the noise went on every night until 1 or 2 in the morning. The room had wall cancer everywhere. Halfway through a shower, the hot water ran out, and the bathroom smelled awful, like a swamp. A disaster.

After long days out on tours, coming back to Andes House and being greeted so warmly made our visit to Cusco extra special. Rodrigo, Julio and Manuel were always friendly and ready to lend a hand. We stayed four nights, November 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th/2024. It’s a nice, cosy, comfortable place, close to the main square. The facility is new and already building a good reputation. Keep up the good work, Rodrigo, Julio, and Manuel!
