Euler House`s

The Wi-Fi was weak and slow, and adjusting the hot water temperature was difficult because there was no proper way to do it. The house was also extremely cold. Honestly, Cusco felt warmer outside than indoors. When we asked about heating, Euler said using the gas heater would cost an extra 70 soles. We stayed seven nights, and the experience was a big letdown after choosing Euler’s House based on the reviews. The house was under-equipped, and many listed amenities were missing or not properly provided. It was dusty, old, and full of cracks. We got just one towel each for the whole stay. When we asked for fresh towels, we were told they’d be provided the next day as an exception, but none ever came. There was no cleaning service during our stay at all.

After a day at Machu Picchu, our group of seven friends arrived at the apartment and the owner told us there’d only be enough hot water for three or four people to shower. The rest would have to wait until morning. We were tired, so we stayed, but when the first person tried, the water was only lukewarm. We had to move because going three days without a proper shower wasn’t an option. The place we moved to in the same neighborhood had no water issues. Be careful if you book here.

The host is excellent and also has a tourism agency where you can arrange visits to historic sites. The lodging is very close to downtown Cusco, with restaurants, grocery shops, and a handicrafts center nearby.

We stayed with friends and the apartment worked really well for our group. It was bright, spotless, and in a handy spot for getting around Cuzco. Thanks for a lovely stay, Euler!
