There are double, twin and triple rooms, each with cable TV, and the bathrooms are shared, with three rooms per floor. It's an affordable place with privacy, a good location, breakfast and cooking options. WiFi can be very slow at times, and the shower is hot some days and only warm on others. I'd stay here again.

We trusted Sra Marlee Bohorquez, owner of Happy House Inn, after she asked for an advance deposit to arrange tours that needed tickets bought ahead because of the large crowds expected for Festa do Sol. We had been in contact by WhatsApp, and the property details appeared on several sites. In March 2020, we sent her $300.86 for our planned June 2020 trip to Cusco. When the pandemic changed our plans, we told her at the end of March that we would no longer be coming. We said she could keep $48, even though she hadn't done anything, with $25 for her and $28 to cover the international transfer. It's now November and she still hasn't sent the money. First she said the banks were closed because of COVID, but now there are no more excuses, and she doesn't even reply on WhatsApp. She sent us a copy of the hostel contract, personal documents and bank details in her name, all of which made us trust her, but we lost about R$1,500 reais. Be careful: she uses accommodation listings on trusted sites to gain your confidence, and then good luck if you pay anything in advance. Don't deposit money with her. This is outright fraud, and I'm warning others. I can send screenshots that prove it; she no longer responds.

It's private, clean and in a good location. The woman who works there is very helpful. My only complaints are that the restrooms have no soap, and some are missing mirrors. I'd definitely come back.
