For 20 soles per person, it’s a decent place to stay today. Bring cash, though, since they don’t take Visa.

The manager turned us away when we arrived, even though we had been told rooms were reserved. We’d followed a recommendation from a receptionist at another hostel linked to the same owners as Hostal Bellota, and had already paid for transport and everything. The service was really bad.

I had the worst stay here. They advertise things that weren’t available: hot water, internet, cable TV, and cleaning. The owner and employees were rude too. Don’t spend your money here.

It’s quiet and close to the bus terminal, with moderate prices. A basic, spacious hotel, though the bathroom was somewhat dirty.

For 25 soles per person, it was just okay. The bathroom was clean, but there were hairs on the sheets, so the beds need better cleaning, and there should be a trash can in the room. Service was ordinary too, nothing special.
