There was blood on the sheets, mold on the ceiling, and no hot water. The room lights never went fully off, and there was no soap, not even hand soap. Our hosts only responded before check-in, and the Expedia coordinates were wrong. At night, loud talking and yelling echoed through the halls. There were no bath mats, so we either risked falling on the smooth tiles or got scolded for using our towel, and they wouldn't give us a fresh one. How much worse could it get? I would NOT recommend anyone stay here at any price. You'll be miserable.

The owners were very sweet and kind, and breakfast on the third-floor roof came with stunning views. The location is right in the heart of San Blas, and the Wi-Fi was great, with video streaming working without a problem. It gets cold at night, as it does everywhere else in Cusco, so pack accordingly. Hot water was reliable in the mornings, but we didn't have any on our first night. Laundry service is available for a fee.

Antonio and Pattie were lovely and caring, always willing to help with even the little things. Our guest house stay was excellent. The room was clean, and the location in San Blas was great, close to lots of cafes and shops and a 5 min walk from the main square.

The location and hot shower were the only things I liked. Our room smelled bad, maybe because of the pipes, and was on the ground floor with no windows. It didn't match the pictures on Google or Booking. I told the receptionist about the smell, but he said it couldn't be true since no one had ever mentioned it before. He also said he couldn't move us because the place was fully booked, although Booking.com still showed rooms available. The next morning he offered breakfast to everyone except us. The Wi-Fi didn't work well in the rooms or the restaurant. We were staying in Cusco for at least a week, but after one night we were more than happy to leave and find somewhere else.
