The price was very competitive, and I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Cusco for that amount. It’s ideally located in the Old City for local sightseeing, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. My double room had lots of space, a big bathroom and an excellent shower. It was quiet enough for a city stay. Ten out of ten.

I’ve been to Cusco and the surrounding areas several times over the last ten years, and stayed in quite a few hotels. Nodo Hotel Garcilaso is my favorite so far. Some places I’ve stayed cost three times as much per night, and I’d still choose the Nodo Hotel.

Bring earplugs if you're there Friday or Saturday. Somewhere nearby plays techno really loudly until 6 a.m., and it can keep you up. The hotel itself is mostly nice, though there are no elevators, so the top floor can leave you out of breath.
