They kept our luggage for four days while we did the Inca trail, which was really handy. Breakfast is included from 7 to 10am, with fresh fruit, bread, cheese, deli meat, cereal and yoghurt drinks. Tea and coffee are always out in the lobby. WiFi reaches every floor and was fine for email and Facebook. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk to the centre, or a 5Sols (2-3usd) taxi ride. There are a few restaurants nearby and more choices in town, plus a convenience store and souvenir shop on site with reasonable prices. The rooms were clean and tidy when we arrived, and cleaned daily. Staff were very friendly. Some struggled with English, but Google Translate worked fine for us.

I booked four nights and left after just one. The room wasn't cleaned, and the front desk staff, though friendly, didn't seem concerned or very helpful. The toilet kept flushing and we had to use the float to stop the leak. There was mold on the badly maintained bathroom ceiling. The room had no heat and got very cold at night; even the many heavy blankets didn't help. I absolutely don't recommend this place.

For the price, I was more than satisfied. It's nothing fancy, but I felt at home, and the breakfast buffet seemed like a decent amount, especially since you need to eat lightly at altitude. The hotel felt cozy, and I slept well all six days. Hot water wasn't a problem for me. The Plaza is about a 20-minute walk away, though taxis were easy and Uber usually cost me 7 soles. I'd read negative things about the neighborhood, but I didn't find it dirty, including Recoleta plaza. Staff were friendly and attentive, though it was sometimes odd seeing a new person at reception. I did notice mold and dampness on the ceilings in many bathrooms, including those used by my family members. It looked unattractive and could use regular cleaning or paint.
