Maytaq Wasin Hotel

We loved the two room setup, with two twin beds in one room and a double in the other. Evenings could be noisy, but that comes with such a great location. The people there really made a difference to our Peru trip: Eduardo x 2 greeted us when we arrived, Jasmyn and Flabia made an impeccable breakfast in the morning, and Alexander came to help when our key card gave us trouble. They're a wonderful bunch.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, and they provided coca tea and filtered water. The rooms were nice, and the rooftop was lovely for relaxing both day and night. They even surprised me for my birthday, which touched me and made me so happy. So kind and wonderful. I'll stay with them again.

I look forward to coming back. The hotel was clean and comfortable, right off the main square, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. It's a lovely three star place. The only downside was some noise from people talking in the courtyard near certain rooms.

The driver they arranged for us was Jon, and we liked him enough to hire him for a second day. We didn't compare prices with other companies, though, and I'm not sure which company they used. The staff were helpful and friendly, even setting that up for us. The hotel is a block and a half from the square. I never noticed the radiator running, but I wasn't cold, and the blankets were more than I needed. I would've liked a hotter shower. Also, the outlet by my bed was loose, so I had to be careful not to pull out the charger when picking up my phone.
