Quinta San Blas by Ananay Hotels

My fiancé and I loved our three nights here. The staff went out of their way to pack breakfast for our 5:30am departure on the journey to Macchu Picchu. They also offer paid laundry service, which was wonderful after the trip. Great service!

This place feels better than the 3 star rating I saw. The porter was really helpful with our luggage, and there’s someone at the door at night if you return late. On Wednesday Pisco Plaza Mayor, we had dinner at 11 because we arrived very late. Breakfast buffet is excellent, and the person in back knows how to make an omelette. It’s a short walk to Plaza de Armas along one of two narrow cobbled streets, with plenty of architecture and shops to see on the way. The rooms are clean and the shower is good, though they ask guests to keep showers short because of water shortages in Cusco.

A surprisingly quiet place, with a great location, amazing breakfast, and a nice team. We enjoyed our stay.

We spent 4 nights here and it was cozy and nice. The bright, modern rooms had comfortable beds and historical interiors. The view was good, too. There were a couple of maintenance issues, but that was all. We weren’t lucky with the timing: we stayed during the independence day celebration, and fireworks started at 2:00 am. The breakfast area is very small, so in high season it’s hard to keep service running smoothly. I bumped my rating up a bit after all, since a city celebration shouldn’t affect the hotel’s rating.
