The price was good and the place was perfectly acceptable, with friendly staff and a great kitchen. There was a lot of noise from people coming and going at all hours, including early morning. They only took cash, which I hadn’t realized when booking, and smoking was allowed in the upstairs hangout space under the lovely windowed roof.

I loved my short Thanksgiving stay in a four-bed mixed dorm. Tupackers is cozy, with great music in the kitchen during the day, and Ms Flor gave wonderful service. It gets so quiet at night you might feel bad coming in during the early hours, lol 😂. Being the best deserves the best 💜💙❤

After traveling around the world, this is still my favorite hostel. The owners are incredibly helpful, whether you need tips on hidden hiking spots or want to figure out which buses go around the city. Guests can use the kitchen, including its full-size refrigerator, and there’s also a movie room and a lounge with floor pillows.

Tupackers worked so well as a home base that I stayed around Cuzco for about three weeks and never felt a need to find somewhere else. They held our extra bags for a week while we were in the mountains, and we could use the kitchen and fridge. There’s a warm greenhouse common area, a movie room, and a good atmosphere for hanging out. The owners are excellent hosts and interesting, cool people to chat with. I’d be surprised to find anywhere else this good.
