I had a wonderful stay at Ukumari. It’s cozy, usually quiet, not far from the center, and clean with a nice smell. It gets cleaned every day, and there’s hot water, WiFi, plugs everywhere, a kitchen, and a chill area. There are two rooms for boys and two for girls, with separate bathrooms for each. Caro the host is very nice and helpful. For a cheap, good place in Cusco, this is the best and cheapest I found. What else do you need?
Caro the host and the whole team were so friendly and welcoming. I showed up unexpectedly after a bad experience at another hostel, and they welcomed me with open arms. The beds are comfortable, and there’s hot water once you turn on the switch. It’s close to the plaza but in a more local neighborhood, where prices around you are local too. Thanks for having me!
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. You do need to ask for hot water, though. Our host was the best, so kind and full of good tips. They kept our bags while we were away trekking and were always up for a chat. ❤️
For a budget trip, this place does the job. The bed was clean with fresh sheets, and there was Wi-Fi, though it came and went. Water was available, and sometimes it was hot. It isn't fancy or the cleanest, but if you mainly need somewhere affordable and well located to sleep, the price feels fair.
A hot shower, a kitchen, good Wi-Fi, and a spot close to the main town made this a great place to stay before heading off on an adventure. The owner was really kind and gave me directions to the bus station along with other travel tips. We’ll definitely stay here again.
