The location is great for getting around, though you have to go up to the third floor for reception. It can feel stuffy in summer. Still, it works fine for one night, and I'd recommend it.

We didn't enjoy our stay. The room felt cramped, and the hot water was so close to boiling that we couldn't shower comfortably. The receptionist also spoke to us in a very unfriendly way, warning us not to make much noise because our children are young, and saying we'd have to pay extra if there were any stains or similar damage.
The staff were trained well, so no complaints there. But for 100 soles, I expected more than a small TV, an electric-heater shower that wouldn't regulate the temperature or pressure properly, and a noisy fan instead of air conditioning. I'll post the video on my TikTok soon, @joeloroya.
The receptionist's attitude put us off before we even paid. She spoke as if she didn't want to be working, so we worried about how she'd treat us if we needed anything brought to the room. We stayed at our other hotel instead. It cost $105 per night rather than $80, but the service there was excellent. It's a shame this place loses customers because of someone so unprofessional.
The location was good, but the bathrooms were dirty, noise passed easily between rooms, and the customer service was poor. It was extremely expensive for what you get. I'd stick to the basic rooms; the pricier ones aren't worth it.
