They cancelled our Expedia reservation, leaving us to find somewhere at the last minute during Huaraz’s busiest period and pay a premium. If you can’t honor a booking, offer an alternative instead of leaving people in the lurch. I’d give zero stars if I could!

The rooms were clean and fine, but the hotel seemed understaffed. We were left waiting for our rooms until 9:30pm, and breakfast arrived 20 minutes late. It was just bread with butter and jam.

The room had plenty of space, with a dresser, closet, and two coffee tables, plus a roomy bathroom and an elevator in the building. The double bed was soft and clean, and the place felt quiet and comfortable. Breakfast, including American options, came with the stay. The service was excellent and the price very affordable. I'd happily come back for another vacation.

The owners were friendly, which was the one bright spot, but I wouldn't stay here again. You can hear noise from other rooms, and there's no lounge for relaxing or meeting visitors, or a terrace. The breakfast felt improvised, and the hotel offered little comfort for the price. I don't understand why the title calls it a three-star hotel.
