I only needed somewhere quiet to work for the afternoon while I was in Huaraz for the day, and even though I wasn’t staying overnight, the staff at La Cabana welcomed me and offered me a quiet space. They were incredibly friendly, and the facilities were great. I’d highly recommend staying here!

There’s great, secure parking for motorcycles, and you can park a car there too. The hotel is well located and excellent value for money. It has a large double room, WiFi, a hot shower, and a kitchen, and the owner is friendly. Thank you!

Jonny was a fantastic host, very friendly and funny, and he gave us great recommendations and made sure we were doing well. The kitchen is available for guests to use, and the rooms are more than fine for the price. It’s more like a private hostel than a typical hotel, but the location is great and the price is too. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Huaraz.

The rooftop was cool, the location was quiet, and the plaza was still only a 5-minute walk away. I stayed for about a month as a trekker and had a fantastic time. The family running the place were warm and welcoming, and helped me find information about some of the hikes. Laundry on site was cheap, the internet was fast, and there was hot water all the time. 5/5

The price was good and the staff were really nice. I stayed almost two weeks and had nothing to complain about. If I go back to Huaraz, I’ll definitely stay there again!
