I wouldn't book here again. The service felt chaotic, even though the staff were friendly, and the location is far from everything. Both stays caused problems. After trekking, I came back for another night and was told someone had extended their stay, so I had to go to a different hotel. I'd already paid, which made that especially frustrating and unprofessional. On arrival the first night, around 9:30 PM after a long bus ride, my room was still occupied, so I waited more than an hour to check in. The room itself was clean and nice, but unfortunately I can't recommend the hostel.

Everything felt brand new, from the beds and sheets to the towels, even had that new smell. It's a little way from the city center, though really close to the bus station. They also let us into our room around 6am after our overnight bus, which we appreciated a lot.

Big rooms, and the beds were comfortable. We arrived at 6am on the overnight bus and they let us check in early. I'm writing this from a hostel in Lima where I'm waiting in the lobby at 6am for a 1pm check-in, even though they've confirmed the room is empty, so that early check-in here really stands out. After our Mateo trek they also gave us a late checkout, so we could shower before leaving. The staff were really nice and accommodating. Highly recommend.

We were glad to find this place that night. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with large family rooms that can also work for couples when available. The accommodation is new, has nice finishes, and the water is hot. Service was friendly and welcoming, and prices were standard but lower than in the city center. There's parking, and they can arrange hikes, excursions, and visits to regional attractions. The five floors are reached by stairs. Wi-Fi is available, and the lobby has boiled water, a small fridge, a microwave, and utensils for snacks or breakfast, though not for cooking. Across the street is a small park with a mini-market where you can find what you need. It's a quiet area, about 1.2 km on foot from Huaraz's central market and 1.5 km from its main square.

The reviews on Booking.com are overrated, so I'm putting this on Google. Go somewhere else, they're a joke. My takeaway breakfast was ridiculous: two madeleines, a tiny fruit juice, and an apple. My friend wasn't trekking and was meant to have breakfast at 8:00 AM, but it didn't arrive until 9:30 AM. My ground-floor room near reception woke me at 5:00 AM. They also moved my motorcycle in the parking lot without asking, and its mirror ended up broken. Amateurs!
