They emailed to say there was a problem with my credit card and that they couldn’t take payment, so they canceled my booking even though I’d received a successful confirmation. I think the real reason was that their bathroom was damaged and they were already fully booked.

My family and I were very happy staying at Mariella's home, and we’d recommend it 100%. It’s in a quiet, well-located area. Mariella welcomed us warmly and was kind, attentive, and always checking that we were comfortable. I visited a few months ago, and she gave us great advice and tourist recommendations. She also put us in touch with a company that gave us a tour at a good price and with excellent service.

Mamama made sure the place was clean and tidy, and the beds were super comfortable. The shower with a hot tub was delicious, and breakfast was too. We came to see the sights, and she suggested places and offered to arrange pickup from the accommodation. She was attentive and made sure we enjoyed Ica in a friendly atmosphere, even offering to work around an early tour. The house felt cozy and had historical touches. From its location, we could easily walk to Plaza de Armas and Plaza del Sol. Smart Fit was nearby too, so I was able to go to the gym.

We’re very grateful to Mariela at Casa de Mamama, ICA - PERU. She was so kind and attentive, with useful tips about restaurants and transportation. She also helped arrange our full-day tours to Hicuachina and Paracas, and everything went perfectly. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay in Ica.
