This lodging and pool are rubbish. The only tasty things are the fries and sauces. Everything else is disgusting. Young guys come to the pool just to swim and drink beer in the water. Seriously, don’t go.

The food was the only good part of my stay during Holy Week. The rest was a bad experience. They don’t change the towels or sheets in the dorms, and after 6:00 pm you can’t stay in the restaurant because they switch off the lights. If you urgently need water at night, they won’t sell you any or let you leave to get some. It was my worst decision, and I do not recommend this place.

I had a fun afternoon here, and if you can put up with some problems, it could still be worth a visit. The pools were clean, though the entrance stairs need work and the missing lights should be fixed. I visited on a packed weekend with live orchestra music. There’s a hotel, restaurant, pool, playground, and stage for performances, and the design and layout seem good. Pool entry costs 15 soles, and I’d rate the place 6 out of 10. The grounds need maintenance and paint. Some walls are dirty or deteriorated, and the tables and chairs are made from low-quality materials. The food was decent and prices acceptable, but they didn’t have enough staff for the crowd. Orders took a long time, weren’t tracked well, and staff sometimes claimed everything had been delivered when it hadn’t. You need to watch the waiters and check your bill carefully. Management should organize the staff and service better, as they don’t seem familiar with customer service procedures.

We ended up leaving for town after using the days we’d already paid for. It was a very bad experience, and the price felt exorbitant for a room with a TV. When we arrived, they demanded full payment, which they hadn’t explained before. We’d agreed to pay half upfront and the rest day by day, and that turned out to be the right call. They also said they didn’t provide meals, despite the advertisement saying they did. The hotel is far from the city, with almost nothing nearby, and finding anything on the streets around it is a nightmare. The advertised pool and children’s play area were in terrible shape. The pools were dirty, full of debris and insects, and the water was freezing. When we asked about it, they said they’d check and clean it, but they didn’t. The play equipment was dirty, broken, and neglected. After the first day, nobody came to clean the room or change the sheets and towels. I had to ask in person for clean towels and toiletries.
