The plant medicine ceremonies were the highlight for me. I took part in both Kambo and Ayahuasca with authentic shamans who guided us carefully. There was a real sense of care and presence, and I never felt alone. No show, no mass tourism. The lodge is a clean, comfortable place, with mosquito net-protected bungalows and excellent fresh food. It’s about 1.5 hours by boat from Iquitos on the Rio Negro, away from mass tourism. Over 3 nights and 4 days, we explored the river, fished for piranhas, took night walks in the jungle, swung on lianas, and saw pink dolphins undisturbed in their natural habitat. We also saw monkeys, sloths, spiders, and frogs. The English-speaking guides were experienced, and the river sunsets were breathtaking. One of the most intense and beautiful experiences of my trip. I’d recommend it to anyone ready to embrace it. Muchas Gracias Carlos and Team 🙏🏼

We ended up with an OK+ tour because our guide did his best and the couple running the lodge were kind and accommodating. But we had to explain to the guide what we expected, and not everything we’d been promised happened. We really questioned the leadership. The company owner had sold us the 3d/2n tour and promised a loop walk, monkey-island, and several activities shown on a map. On arrival it quickly became clear the guide hadn’t received the same plan. We called the owner to explain our dissatisfaction with the lack of planning and organization. We asked to leave with the lemener skravling the next day and get a partial refund. He got really mad and hung up on us.

Magno made the trip easy, flexible, and really enjoyable. He speaks English, and I recommend him to everyone. I booked a 4-day trip with this company, one of the best things I’ve ever done. For three days, we were with a family of four, and Magno planned activities that worked well for both kids and adults. The family stayed at the lodge for only two nights, so Magno and I walked to a more remote lodge on the final night, something I’d asked to do. Great experience, highly recommend.

At first I was skeptical and worried it might be a tourist trap, but I’m glad I trusted my instinct. They treat guests like friends, and respect the animals too. I can only recommend choosing them. Thank you again for a unique, incredible experience. The wildlife outings felt respectful and connected to the local community. We took boat trips with local people, whistling to try to spot dolphins, and walked through the jungle without disturbing the monkeys, sloths, or other animals. With some luck, you might see many animals, even snakes and anacondas. They’re left free. As we walked through the forest, we listened to the birds and admired the plants and animals while the guide explained so much. It supported the local economy in an authentic way, without staged tourist activities. The sacred medicine ceremony was intense and emotional. Maestro David, the shaman, and Carlos, the apprentice shaman, guided me through an intimate, authentic ceremony in a safe space. Ayahuasca felt like a friend: you have to trust it, follow it, and let yourself be carried. The shamanic chants deeply shaped that ancestral journey. Thanks to Carlos for organizing everything with care and sensitivity, Raul for being a kind and helpful guide, and Luis, Kelly, and their family for looking after us and preparing delicious food every day. Thank you to shaman David and everyone in the community who welcomed us onto their land. This is the kind of tourism we should all practice.

Rodger was an amazing guide on our full-day tour. He knew so much about the area, the animals, and the flora and fauna. We spotted every animal on our list: pink dolphins, sloths, monkeys, iguanas, and many kinds of birds, including a toucan. We’d highly recommend Rodger’s wildlife tour!
