We spent 4 nights with the hosts at Casa Kukama, and it was one of the best parts of our trip through Peru. Lorena and Pablo were so open and happy to have us. They introduced us to the local community and its great street food, and arranged different trips into the Amazonian nature. The lodge is in a beautiful, peaceful spot, and we loved the area's typical food. After long, interesting outings, relaxing in the hammocks and watching the sunset right by the river became our favorite way to unwind. If you want a lovely place near Iquitos with access to the Amazonas, we can only recommend Casa Kukama Lodge. Lorena and Pablo, wishing you all the best, and thanks for everything ☺️

The village people and staff were so helpful and always ready to lend a hand. It’s a beautiful place, and Iquitos feels like a hidden pearl of Peru, with lovely places to visit and good tours. The guides speak English or Spanish, depending on what you want. Big thanks to Pablo, Laura, Levi, and everyone else on staff. You made our trip here. The setting is really beautiful too.
