I arrived on my own and felt a little anxious, which seemed normal when I wasn't sure where I was going deep in the jungle. Meeting Poul put me at ease right away. He's warm and kind, and made me feel comfortable. The ceremonies were profound, with a wise, experienced shaman guiding them. The maloca had a powerful, sacred feeling, and the icaros, the healing songs, took me deep into the experience. They helped me connect with the medicine and with myself in a way I hadn't imagined. I felt safe and supported, with real spiritual guidance around me. Poul stayed close and attentive during the ceremonies until everything was finished. He also showed me the village and other beautiful places nearby, which made the trip more special. The place is beautiful, like a paradise in nature, and was clean and well maintained. The food, prepared for the ceremony diet, was excellent. I'm truly grateful I chose Ayaymama Mystic. It was unforgettable and life-changing.

The part that stayed with me most was the care after each ceremony. The facilitators helped me make sense of what I’d experienced, and that support made a real difference. This was my first ayahuasca retreat, and I arrived feeling nervous, curious, and hopeful. The ceremonies were each moving in their own way, emotional and illuminating. The staff created a safe, loving space and guided us with care and humility. From the start, I felt welcome. Being surrounded by nature helped me step away from everything outside and turn inward. I left with a sense of peace, clarity, and connection I hadn’t felt for years. I’m grateful for the tools and insights I’ll carry with me.

Paul and the healer were so attentive. Along with holding the ceremony, they diagnosed my stomach ulcer and gave me local plants that healed it. They also took us to a floating restaurant and picked up medicine in the city for us to bring back to the US. My time here was beautiful and life changing. I highly recommend this place.

The river swims and jungle walks helped me open up, and the shaman and staff were kind. I don’t speak English or Spanish, but I still felt safe and understood. I live in a busy city, so those 10 days in the Amazon felt special. The place is basic, with limited power and water, though that made it easier to slow down and feel peaceful. Ceremonies were held every other day, leaving room to rest and reflect. That integration time after each one meant a lot to me. There were a few small troubles, but Ayahuasca helped me stay positive and learn from them. I’d recommend it to anyone hoping to connect more deeply with themselves and nature.

The food followed the Ayahuasca dieta and still tasted really good. There was fresh fruit in what felt like endless supply. The ceremonies felt sacred, and the Shaman seemed deeply connected and in tune with me. I was the only woman in my group, but I felt safe the whole time. I came in 2022 after feeling “the calling” from Mama Aya. The staff were warm from the moment I arrived, and the experience changed me. If that calling comes again, I’ll absolutely return. Much gratitude, Lani ✨🦋
