The location felt safe and was easy to get around on foot, and the atmosphere was lovely for relaxing. At Jungle House my room was clean, with AC, good Wi-Fi, and hot showers. Breakfast in the morning was delicious too. I had a really nice stay and will be back next year!

We stayed four nights in mid August 2025, and the garden-facing rooms were clean and very quiet. The small pool was refreshing and never busy, and the included breakfast had options. The staff were very accommodating: they let us use the pool before check-in and after check-out, and stored our luggage until our flight. Jungle House is a small hotel near the end of a street closed to regular traffic, with a public balcony just steps away overlooking the Mamay River, which feeds the Amazon. We loved our stay. If we return to Iquitos, this is the only accommodation we'd consider for the money.

The river is right beside the hotel, and I love sitting on the bench there, watching the clouds go by and hoping to see a rainbow 🌈. This is my third stay at The Jungle House, and I always look forward to coming back. Leaving the Amazon jungle for busy Iquitos can make me feel a bit vulnerable, but this peaceful place has become my sanctuary in the city. The surroundings are quiet, and it feels like having a jungle of my own here. It'll always be my first choice when I return to Iquitos 🫶🏻

The staff are amazing, 100/100, and the breakfasts are really good. The rooms are spacious and super comfortable, with AC and hot water. It's in a safe area by the boardwalk, near restaurants and an easy walk from the main square. I'd definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was okay and included protein, plus there was good fresh fruit juice. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and the room acceptable.
