The food was great, and the hotel felt romantic, secure, and very clean. I’d been buried in work when my wife found the place, and I booked it trusting her taste without knowing what to expect. It turned out quiet and well run, and exceeded what I’d hoped for. I’m planning to come back. What really set it apart was the owner, who I believe was named Virginia, kindly mailing back clothes I’d left behind when I rushed back to my fast-paced job.

It’s a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, a nice escape from city noise. It’s also quite family and pet friendly, and a good place to disconnect. A couple of service details could be better: nobody is stationed at reception or the entrance all the time, and the pool was dirty after the rain and wasn’t cleaned while we were there.
