I had a comfortable six-day stay at Quark Apartments. The building was new and very clean, and my unit had what I needed: a good bed, a hot plate and microwave for cooking, a smart TV, and strong internet. Reception was staffed all the time in case I needed help with things like laundry or airport transfers, and there’s an elevator for the higher floors. For supplies, Tambu is close by, while Wong in Ovalo Gutierrez is about a 25-30 minute walk. There are fast food spots and nicer restaurants around there. A few blocks away, Parque Miguel Grau sits on the cliffs and has really beautiful views. A couple of things to keep in mind: there’s no air conditioning, just a stand fan, and getting to Centro Historico or other places farther north can take a while in Lima traffic. Miraflores and Barranco are much more convenient from here.

I felt very safe in this part of Miraflores. The room was comfortable, and there were lots of restaurants nearby. Great location.

I specifically booked an apartment with a balcony because I needed one, but at check-in they gave me a room without it and hadn’t warned me beforehand. The staff recognized there was a problem, though what they offered as compensation wasn’t enough. It left me with a bad experience and less trust in the place. The listing didn’t match what I actually got, so check carefully before booking.
