Cosmopolitan Duplex in Barranco

The breakfast was a real highlight. When we had stomach trouble, the receptionist even put together something we could eat. She was incredibly kind and helpful. The small hotel was spotless, everything felt new and in good order, and we were very comfortable. Highly recommend it.

Barranco ended up being our favorite part of Lima, and our B&B had a lot to do with that. The courtyard was peaceful and green, a lovely spot to eat my delicious omelette with hot chocolate and watch the birds. Breakfast isn't a buffet, which is usually my preference since I like to fill up and skip lunch, but having a smaller meal meant we could try snacks and desserts at nearby cafes, bakeries, and restaurants throughout the day. We liked this place more than many five-star hotels and it was our favorite stay of the trip. They were also very reasonable about a partial refund when someone in our group had to go home unexpectedly and we canceled one room. I didn't use the laundry, but I recall it cost about $3-4 USD per kg. We stayed in Miraflores when we first arrived in the country and in Barranco before leaving. I'd stay here again if I come back to Lima.

The receptionist was a real bonus. She speaks English, French, German, and Spanish, and had plenty of suggestions for places to visit, things to do, and food to try. The hotel is a great deal and worked perfectly for a few nights in Lima.

We were comfortable in the rooms and really enjoyed breakfast. The owner was easy to communicate with and helped us get familiar with the neighborhood, including sharing good ideas for sights and places to eat.
