My bags were locked in their “secure” room, yet my Nintendo Switch, several games, house keys, a power bank, and a few other things were stolen, or someone there allowed them to be stolen. Avoid this place. I’m never returning to Peru.

The room had plenty of cupboard and hanging space, and the bed was comfortable. The shower worked well and had hot water. It’s a budget hotel about a five-minute walk from Kennedy Park, and I felt safe there. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room, but reception lent us one when we asked. The safe in the cupboard was a nice extra. Good value for the three nights we spent in Lima.
I booked weeks ahead, then Booking.com had to tell me the hotel had overbooked. The hotel claimed my card details weren’t working and asked me to update them through Booking.com, but never told me about its own mistake. Really bad service. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
For a quick stop to see Lima, the location was excellent, and the room was decent for what it cost. Well worth the money.
We only needed a place for one night while waiting for our flight, and it was just about okay for that. The room felt like a prison, with metal bars on the windows and one dim bulb that barely lit it. My ground-floor window looked straight at a brick wall. Very basic, no fridge, cups, kettle, or water. I wouldn’t stay longer.
