It’s in a safe part of town, with lots of restaurants nearby. The room was rather small, but the bed and shower were good, and the temperature control worked well.

The breakfast was good and satisfying, but the stay was deeply disappointing. The hotel is well located and beautifully furnished, yet none of the reception staff spoke English, which made basic communication needlessly difficult. In the middle of winter, we were put in a room with no heating, only cold air conditioning. My partner had food poisoning and was shivering. When I asked for help, the first suggestion was to use more blankets. We were moved to a properly heated room only after I insisted. When receptionist Erick asked Claudia which room we’d been given, she said “414” with an expression that seemed to hint it was “the cold room.” It left me wondering if guests staying one night are deliberately assigned the worst rooms because they’re less likely to complain. Late check-out was handled just as poorly. First I was told to ask the next morning, then that I’d have to pay extra, and finally it was granted for free. As an Accor Silver Member, late check-out is supposed to be a benefit. The confusion and lack of awareness of loyalty privileges point to poor training and organization.

Reception is very helpful to tourists visiting for the first time. The hotel itself, though, feels too far from the center for a big city like Lima. The rooms don’t feel like four-star rooms, as they’re missing some basic bathroom items and water.

I was in Lima, Peru, on business, and the hotel’s hospitality staff and business team were great. They helped us run a successful training session and meetings. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

The staff were attentive and friendly throughout my stay, and the location was a big reason I picked this hotel. Breakfast felt very basic for what it cost. Even considering it as a business hotel where you mostly sleep, I missed a few essentials, like bottled water in the room.
