It’s a cheap, clean place to stay in Miraflores, and being close to the “Malecon of Miraflores” is the best part.

The taxi driver kept pushing this place, calling it a hotel and asking if we wanted to give it a try. After about 15 minutes, we agreed to stop since it seemed to be on the way, even though we’d meant to go to La Casa de Cici Hospedaje. I wish we’d stuck to that plan. The stop turned into a headache. I’m a cop, and I didn’t feel safe there. I asked for a key to look at the room, and as soon as I walked into the matrimonial room, I saw what looked like a door jamb that had been pried open before. The room looked wretched, so I left and handed the key back. The driver seemed upset about not getting a propina, then drove us away from the hotel we’d originally chosen and acted like a jerk, to put it mildly.

Tourists, please be careful here. The hotel seems to work with a taxi driver who asks for 500 soles to take you from the airport to the hostel. A man called “Eduardo” speaks English and acts as if he knows the person you’re looking for. They use an older woman as part of the scam.

£40 felt far too expensive. There are plenty of nearby hotels that are cheaper and better, so I wouldn't recommend this place. I suspect it may be a scam, with the taxi driver working with them to rob tourists.
