We wished we could have stayed longer. The street is quiet, while some of Lima's best food and shopping are nearby, and the beautiful Miraflores neighborhood felt safe and easy to explore on foot. This boutique hotel was a lovely place to rest amid the busy city. The staff did a lot to make us comfortable, and the new owner even checked in while we were having the wonderful breakfast. It was one of three places we stayed during our honeymoon, and we'd like to return for an anniversary.

Sumaq, the sweet dog (I may have the spelling wrong), was always there to greet us when we arrived or headed out. The proprietor also knew the area well and was very helpful. We enjoyed the made-to-order breakfast each morning, and the beds were comfortable, for Peru. We had a great stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

The reception staff were friendly and accommodating, with plenty to offer. Breakfast was delicious, with an omelette, toast, and a bowl of fruit. The place is so cute, too, and makes a great quiet retreat from the city bustle. Highly recommend it.

The team were brilliant, helping us plan the day and arrange taxis. They also let us wait in reception until our 16:15 airport pickup. There's free tea and coffee, plus a pretty decor and a little garden where you can have an evening drink. The area is good, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Our top-floor apartment was superb, with a spiral staircase leading to the mezzanine bedroom, a lovely fireplace in the lounge, and a big private terrace outside. The place has loads of character, and the people are wonderful. Highly recommend.
