The hotel has a lovely, unusual character, with plants, antique furniture, painting reproductions, and crystal chandeliers that make it feel almost like a museum. It's made up of terraces with rooms, right in the center of Lima. We stayed one day to explore the area, and a room overlooking the cathedral would be especially beautiful to watch in the evening and at night. Rooms have bathrooms, hot water, and fans. Breakfast is served on the third floor. It's modest, but decent. The staff are polite and caring. They can store your things after checkout, call an airport taxi, and help you find a museum, square, or building. The location is very convenient for being in the city center.

The taxi was a terrible experience. Don't take one through the hotel, they let you down and then want you to pay extra.

From the terrace on the fourth floor, my room had a breathtaking view. It was also very clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful, with interiors that feel like an art gallery, and it's just a few minutes' walk from the main sights in Lima's old town. Whenever I needed information or help, the staff were incredibly helpful.

It's right in central Lima, in a 400-year-old colonial house. The bedrooms are spacious and clean, and the rooftop has a great view. For Lima, the price is good for what you get. Staff are nice and can keep your luggage for you. You do have to ring the bell each time you want to get in, though there's reception around the clock.

I had a really good time here when I stayed in 2015. Back then the owners were a very old couple, and they were so nice. There was a lot of art around, almost like being in a museum, and there were animals on the roof, which was lovely. I don't know what it's like now. I heard prices have gone up and the owner has changed.
