Maxy's Inn Hotel & Suite

I asked specifically for a double room with a balcony and/or windows. The website assured me rooms were available, but none were, so I ended up in a room that wasn’t even decent, with two single beds and one twin-size bed. It also had an extra room in deplorable condition. Horrible. I asked to move and got a better room, though it still had no windows and wasn’t the one I reserved. Construction noise carries through the inside of the building, and the work outside makes the view unappealing. The building is under construction, and my first experience here has been terrible so far. If you just need somewhere to sleep, it’s okay, but you won’t enjoy your stay.

Fine for a night. The bed was comfortable and the room fairly clean, but the rooms facing the avenue are really noisy. Rooms on the other side look into the building interior and are very dark.

It’s a clean, no-frills hotel that I liked overall, and there’s a good chance I’ll come back. From outside, you wouldn’t even know it was a hotel. Check before paying by card.

There was no hot water, and construction began at 6 am. The Wi-Fi was good, though.
