Hotel Tanpu Q.

The website’s advertising is misleading. There’s no elevator, so with heavy suitcases you’ll need to leave them in the storage room they offer, or carry any valuables upstairs to your room. The rooms are very basic, with poor decor and ventilation, and the hot water was poor too. I don’t recommend it.

The receptionists are friendly, but they have a lot to learn about international culture and service. This feels more like a hostel than a hotel, somewhere you just go to rest. The social media advertising is misleading too, since what you find on arrival is much more basic than expected. Some facilities have problems, and water use is limited.

The staff made a strong impression on me. I've stayed here three times on different dates, and every person who helped me was kind. I also felt I could trust them when they kept my belongings in their storage room at the end of a stay. The place is quiet both day and night, with restaurants nearby that you can reach on foot. It's convenient for families, close to the airport, and has parking. The rooms are comfortable, with hot water, privacy, and a bathroom light that switches on when it senses movement. I'd happily recommend it.
