It’s close to the peru-bus terminal.

The location was the only good part. At night it was incredibly noisy, and they seemed very inconsiderate about it. The bed was uncomfortable, and the supposedly clean pillow had someone else’s hair on it when we arrived. We switched rooms, but found another hair on that pillow too. It was awful. The blanket wasn’t clean either, and didn’t even smell of perfume. The room was damp because the bathroom window was shut and far too high to reach and open. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The location was why my family and I liked this hostel on earlier trips to Lima, but after this experience, we won’t be back. I booked two weeks ahead and paid a 50% deposit. It was my first time driving from the airport, and Lima traffic delayed us more than I expected. When we arrived, the receptionist was outside. I told her about the booking, and she rudely said we were late and that she would “see” whether the room was still available, since we’d arrived after the approximate time I’d given her. I disliked the way she spoke to us, especially as we had a reservation and nobody had told me about the hotel’s rules. It left me completely upset, even though the room was available after all. They also don’t clean the rooms, although cleaning is supposed to happen every day of your stay. The bathrooms are incomplete, with no hooks inside.
