Room 5 Star Miraflores

The breakfast each morning was delightful, and our rooms were spacious. It's also a great spot for walking to lots of restaurants and shops. We stayed in February 2026 and had a very pleasant visit. The only small issues were a musty smell that came and went in the hallways and sometimes our room, and shower water that was often too hot and hard to adjust.

The rooms, TVs, and bathrooms are all big, which I think is a plus since that's less common in other countries. The hotel is well located, close to Larcomar mall, the beach, and some important restaurants. Service was good, and the food was okay. During New Year, though, the dining area was too small for the number of guests. The gym and pool are both very small, and the pool is really only suited to a jacuzzi-like experience.

My husband and I could walk to lots of places from this conveniently located hotel in Miraflores. It was our first time in Peru. The room was okay, and I liked having an exercise bike in it. Minibar items cost extra, so we bought water and other things at nearby supermarkets. The shower drained slowly and water pooled in the tub, which I didn't like. Breakfast was included, but the choices were very limited, and sometimes I could hardly find a decent protein option. The views are pretty good, especially from the top-floor restaurant, and the welcome drinks were a nice touch. We had traditional pisco sours. Mine broke by accident, and they replaced it. The big problem was the room keys and elevator malfunctioning. My husband and I got stuck in the elevator more than once on separate occasions. It was scary, and we only got out when someone else was coming in. All in all, it's a clean, good-value budget hotel.

We ended up staying one night instead of three because of personal circumstances and arriving in Lima late. The hotel looks lovely inside, and breakfast was lovely too. But stepping out of the lift on the 17th floor, there was a damp, musty smell, and the bedroom smelled even worse at night. There were no windows to open, and I'm not sure how the hotel doesn't know about it. The pool is tiny, with only three chairs for all the guests. We didn't use the sauna or steam room because they weren't on when we arrived and there was nobody around to ask how to switch them on.
