Chris, the owner, cooks healthy, delicious meals with real care, and the staff are friendly, genuine people who make you feel at home. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. You're only steps from the beach, in a great part of town with plenty of restaurants nearby. A wonderful place to rest, recharge, and take in Lobitos' quiet beauty and perfect waves.

We had an amazing stay at El Hueco Villas and I'll be back soon. The staff were helpful and kept the atmosphere great. The restaurant made very tasty food and accommodated all our requests. The spacious superior room with a sea view was well worth it.

I can't stand the ants crawling up my legs in the bathroom. Bugs were everywhere, and there was no AC, soap, shampoo, or clean linens. Just disgusting. I left after one night even though I'd booked three. If I'd known how bad it was, I never would have stayed here. Worst place I've ever stayed in my life.

The hosts were great, and the bar was fully stocked. It's a good hotel about 400 m from the beach. The menu is simple, but the food is very well cooked.
