It’s easy to get into Los Órganos from this quiet lodge, which makes shopping more convenient than in Mancora. The beach is flat enough for a run, and going out to Playa Órganos and back at sunset is a great idea. In the late afternoon, the lodge’s own beach is a lovely place to watch the sun go down. The water in front is pristine, without the rocks you find around Las Pocitas. On windy afternoons, you can sit by the pool and watch the seagulls overhead. It’s private and comfortable, with beach access, and a peaceful escape from Mancora’s noise and bustle.

Bring plenty of supplies, since there’s no nearby market and transport options in Vichayito are limited. You can arrange rides with the owners, who were attentive and helped us with everything. We found walks along the beach in the afternoon and drinks by the pool incredibly relaxing. A great choice for a family vacation if you want to get away from everyone. Highly recommended.

You can walk straight onto the beach from this nice place, and there’s a pool too. The water supply can be an issue, though, and the place could use more cleaning.

The pool was clean and the service was attentive and good. The rooms, though, need maintenance and a better clean.
