Norte Suites Boutique

We had a great experience at this beautiful boutique hotel, set right by the ocean in the middle of a national reserve. There's a very private beach and hardly any houses nearby, and we didn't encounter mosquitos. Prices were fair. Mancora is close enough if you're in the mood for it. I can't think of anything else I'd ask for.

A rainbow in the northern Peruvian desert. Love & Sun package. Our time at Norte Suites changed us. We left feeling restored in body and mind, and full of heart. It was our first trip to Peru, but the welcoming, supportive staff in El Nuro made us want to come back. We spoke very little Spanish and still felt cared for and accepted. A driver was arranged after our flight, and though we arrived at 11 pm, head receptionist Patricia stayed well past her hours to greet us. She came back early the next morning to show us around and help us settle in, and looked after our needs throughout the visit. We felt safe and in good hands with her. Katherine, Aldo, and Fiorella made us feel like royalty. They were always smiling and seemed to know when to offer a hand, whether we needed food, drinks, music, or a chance to relax. They stayed nearby while giving us complete privacy and never made us feel judged. We're so grateful for all their hard work and care. The food was WOW. Fresh local Peruvian dishes, with so much care in every detail, and everything we tried was magical and reasonably priced. It's impressive to get such fresh, high-quality ingredients in a rural setting this beautiful. The reservation includes a five-part breakfast: your choice of fresh tropical juice, a hot drink such as Peruvian coffee or herbal tea, fresh bread with butter and fruit spread, a light yogurt or creamy dish with granola and fruit, and a main with protein options like eggs, bacon, or avocado. It was a lovely start to each day. The other meals were even better: ceviche, leche de tigre, excellent beef dishes, the best fresh tuna you'll ever have, and delicious Peruvian vegetables prepared just right. The views and activities were wonderful, too. We were tired, so massages were brought to our room, though we could also have had them side by side with an ocean view. They arranged a romantic bonfire for us, with sunset champagne, marshmallows over a wood fire, tiki torches, Peruvian love songs, and artisan pizza on the beach. It felt so relaxing and magical. We even saw whales jumping in the distance. Leaving was hard, and by the end we felt like they were family. My husband kept saying he wanted to buy a case of beer and have a beach party with the staff, maybe next visit. After checkout, they kept our bags somewhere easy to reach, let us lounge at the beach and pool and use the showers, then arranged a very comfortable ride to the airport along the beautiful northern coast, passing quaint, authentic Peruvian towns. Next time we'll bring our kids and visit the surf town Mancora, which looked so fun. We can't wait to return to Norte Suites Boutique!

It felt like a hidden gem, with a perfect location and a beach all to yourself. The staff were friendly and quick to respond. Angelo, Fransua, and Pamela were amazing. I'd definitely come back.

Right on the beach in northern Peru, this place feels like a dream. It's ideal for a private, secluded vacation or honeymoon. Aldo and the staff were excellent, kind, and went out of their way to accommodate us. Highly, highly recommended.
