Manuel, the hotel supervisor, was a great help, and even offers pick-up from the bus terminal. The reception staff were friendly and supportive, and Pepa, the adopted cat, made the stay feel a bit more charming. Breakfast was tasty and included, and they serve lunch and dinner as well. There are lots of extras, including a jacuzzi, massage chair, 4x4 motorbike track, hammocks, beautiful views, and arrangements with local tour agencies. The only real downside for us was the small beds for a couple. Some people mention noise on busy weekends or in high season, and the walls are thin with lots of rooms, but we slept fine.

We stayed in the log cabin, which was built over 120 years ago, and loved the rich history of the place. The food was tasty, especially the breakfast tamale, and the large property has plenty to enjoy, including a hot tub and a grill you can ask about using. Rooms were super clean, and the WiFi reached across the whole property. It's right by the center plaza, in what felt like the safest part of town. Romely, the charismatic young receptionist, was warm and made sure we felt cared for at any hour. The whole team was friendly and available 24/7, which made it feel cozy, almost like home. They also provide free transportation to and from the bus station. Excellent value for the money. This is by far the best lodge in Oxapampa for us, and we'll return without looking elsewhere.

The internet and hot water were a welcome plus. The restaurant, pool and spacious courtyard also made for a comfortable stay, with the common areas kept clean all the time. Customer service was very good, and the staff were kind. I really enjoyed the experience.

We had a bad experience and wouldn't stay again. The room was dirty, and the sheets and pillowcases weren't clean. Communication with staff was poor, and staff were sleeping in rooms right next to ours. The WiFi was bad, the pool wasn't heated as stated, and the restaurant and bar weren't open. It felt like the staff would rather be anywhere else. There was construction noise very early while they replaced the roof. We stayed only two nights but weren't given a refund for the third. I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
