The beach nearby is lovely, and the place itself is cute. The people working there are lovely too.

They gave me a wristband for access to El Refugio Hotel’s facilities, which made it a good option for spending a day at the beach. The pool area has tables and chairs, and there’s covered parking. It’s quiet and clean, and the staff are attentive and respectful.

Jorge was excellent, warm and friendly, and always ready to answer questions or help with anything. The hotel is welcoming and very quiet, a good place to relax away from Mancora’s noise. The rooms are comfortable, though they could use a few things: a minibar, clothes racks, a hairdryer, and an electric kettle. Tea or coffee would always be nice to have.

The pool is always clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive. It’s a peaceful place to unwind, and I’d stay here again. It would be helpful if they served lunch and dinner, though, so guests wouldn’t have to go to other restaurants.
