Hotel Miramar

The restaurant on the first floor was clean, easy to get into and had simple parking. It was also manageable for my elderly family member to sit and eat. The staff were incredibly quick, and the food was tasty. We had very good fish, and a nice meat dish with rice and little fish inside a tortilla that was a bit like an egg omelette. The spicy sauce was great too. Desserts were the weak point, though. My Dad dropped a drink, and they didn’t charge us for it. I was glad to leave the server a 20% tip after making her laugh a couple of times. We enjoyed the meal, took some pictures, and headed out. I didn’t stay at the hotel, but if you’re passing through and need a stop, I’d happily recommend having a bite here. I had no stomach trouble and left feeling relaxed. I wish I could’ve stayed the night, even just to say I had. I’ve seen the reviews aren’t great, but I was happy with the restaurant. Also, if you’re driving around Peru, you can use an American driver’s license without an international one, as long as you get car insurance.
