The pool was super cold, and the doors didn't have peepholes. Still, it was a great place to stay, with a clean, comfy bed, a big shower with hot water, Wi-Fi, and breakfast included.

The hotel’s shared spaces are full of art and plants, and the location is handy, only a couple of blocks from the Plaza de Armas. My room was spacious and very clean, though so undecorated it felt almost like a hospital. Hot water was very good by Peruvian standards, and the courteous staff were helpful. Breakfast was fine, with scrambled eggs, juice, coffee, and assorted breads. I thought the price was a little high compared with other places I stayed in Peru. Also, don’t expect many people in Moyobamba to speak English.

It’s centrally located and has a pool, though the room itself was basic. The staff were friendly and even let me have breakfast on the day I checked in. That’s Rio Mayo for you.
