There were bugs and insects in the room, and the rubbish bins in both the bedroom and bathroom weren't emptied daily. The hot shower was unreliable too, suddenly turning cold while I was using it. Before booking, I asked the owner about this and was told hot water worked 24 hours. I messaged to complain, but got no reply before checkout. I also had trouble getting help from the reception staff. There was only one person there, he couldn't speak English and didn't seem professional or able to help. Even when I showed him Google Translate, he didn't understand, so I stopped trying to communicate with him. Bring the exact amount for your bill, since they don't have change. The day before I checked in, I asked the owner to book one extra night, and he said that was fine. The staff member seemed unaware of the arrangement. There was no useful information or friendliness, and the owner and staff seemed irresponsible. It felt like a local house where you couldn't get help. This was the worst experience of my two-month trip in South America. Go somewhere else.

The place is cozy and right in the center. The staff helped us so much with our trip, both before we arrived and after we left. Strongly recommended.

The room was really comfortable, and the hosts were so kind. When I mentioned my egg allergy at breakfast, they brought me a big avocado instead. They were very thoughtful.
