We couldn’t sleep because dogs were fighting noisily through both nights, and there was a pile of trash and a dirty mattress left by the pool for our whole stay. The room itself looked nice and had two comfortable queen beds, but the floor was so dusty that I left footprints walking barefoot. Hot water worked only once during our three days and two nights, and they wouldn’t give us an iron. Breakfast never appeared because, the receptionist said, the chef hadn’t come in. The manager was awful: they claimed they couldn’t find our Expedia reservation, though I had the confirmation email and number in the app, then tried to charge us more. When we tried to pay by card at checkout, their machine showed a reading error with two different cards. My card company confirmed no payment went through, so I paid cash and had no spending money left for the rest of my trip. Pachacamac is a small town where places mostly take cash or Yape, the local equivalent of Venmo in the US. I have proof of all this and will post photos if I can. Think twice before staying here.
