La Posada

Well located, clean, and comfortable.

The receptionist gave us helpful information about Pimentel and Chiclayo, and the service and attention were excellent. There's parking, and the hotel is close to the beach. The pool water could be better, but the place is peaceful.

The rooms were a little small, but cozy and very clean. We could order dinner, and the pool had inflatables, which was a nice bonus. It's a welcoming place, though it was stressful dealing with parking for our two SUVs. They required payment first, and even after I paid the full amount, they wouldn't let us into the parking area until check-in. I explained that I had small children who needed to get out of the car, but it didn't help. I wanted to open some coconuts, and they gave us tools. But we couldn't open them there with my family, so I had to go all the way to the parking area to do it, then bring them back. It meant making the trip twice. There were no restrooms by the pool either, so we had to walk through reception and could get wet. If they improve how they handle guests with cars and children entering the parking area, I'd say it could be one of the best places to stay in Pimentel. It might be the best, but it's still lacking in some areas.

A peaceful, safe atmosphere makes this inn a lovely place to relax, whether you're on vacation or traveling for work. The owners are attentive, hygiene is impeccable, and it's very close to the beach. It's centrally located, with several restaurants nearby.
