The views from the property are incredible, and the place feels magical. It was deeply relaxing and healing for us. We only meant to stay two days, then ended up there for two weeks. They hold regular Temazcals and plant medicine ceremonies, and the prices are much cheaper than in Pisac. The owner is an experienced shaman who guides people on their journeys.

Wallpari Sonqo is in Maska, around 5 km outside Pisac, with nature all around and a welcoming community of medicine people. There’s a lot of healing here on different levels. The rooms are cozy and spotless, the shared kitchen works well for cooking, and the showers are warm and clean. I meant to stay four days, stayed ten, and am already planning another visit.

We came for three nights and added one more because the place felt so homely. It was a lovely spot to slow down and heal a little during our travels. My partner had her first Temezcal ceremony and thoroughly enjoyed it, while I explored the nearby Parque Arqueológico Pisac, just down the road. I’d highly recommend it. Come relax for a while and let the world’s worries fade. We’ll definitely return if we’re back in Pisac. The photo is the view from our room.

In Maska, this was the best place to stay. I learned so much, met local people, shared in their wisdom, and felt like part of a family. I even fell in love! 🌞

I really believe in what’s happening at Wallpari Sonqo. It feels like a powerful place for healing, meditation, and retreat. We’re all walking each other home, opening ourselves to love and living from the heart. The mountains are sacred, and being nestled in the Andes foothills, among the apus, those great guardian spirits who welcome visionary wanderers at the edge of space and time, feels like being part of Pachamama’s inseparable body. Thank you, Greg & Eva, for guiding and showing the way, and for opening your hearts and space to me on my several trips to Peru.
