The rooms were roomy and very clean, with daily housekeeping and a small breakfast delivered to the room. But internet was only available in the hallway. The manager even offered to put a table out there if I needed to work, which was disappointing. The booking price also became a problem. At check-in, I was told they charged in USD and converted to soles using their own rate, about 7.5% above the market rate Booking was using at the time. I offered to pay in USD by credit card, but they wouldn’t accept that, only a bank transfer, which wasn’t practical without a Peruvian account. I negotiated a slightly higher price than my Booking reservation, then ran into the same issue when extending for one night. They asked me to book through Booking again and still wanted more than the listed price. Check-in and the extension each took around half an hour because the manager had to contact the owners and wait for their decisions. I found the payment practices dirty and indecent.

The Silesian church and its lovely bells are just 200m away, and Plaza de Armas is about 400m from here. The room was kept very clean.

Be careful booking here. They cancelled Hiroyuki and his group's reservation on the show without permission, then claimed the room had been cancelled and charged them more. If you can’t negotiate firmly, I’d avoid making a reservation with them.

They had rooms available, but still turned us away when we arrived with a Booking.com reservation made by phone. They said it had been cancelled, though it hadn’t, and seemed to want more money because they thought we didn’t speak Spanish. The receptionist was arrogant and rude, with very little tact when handling the problem. I found the staff ill-mannered, unhelpful, and secretive about information. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially tourists hoping to enjoy their time in Peru. It felt like a scam, and I hope people choose somewhere else.
